Signature State

Last Updated: Jan 24, 2015 11:52PM PST
After you upload a document, you can select the document's signature state to help indicate what further action needs to be taken, if any. There are 3 choices for signature state: Sign Later, Signed Offline, and No Signature Required. "Sign Later" means that you want to sign the document online through Reesio's integration with Adobe EchoSign. "Signed Offline" means the document has already been signed outside of Reesio's system, and will not required any additional signatures through Reesio. "No Signature Required" means the document does not require any signatures at any point in time, and is for storage and sharing purposes only. After you choose the signature state, click the orange "Save" button, and you'll be taken back into the Documents tab.:

If a document is partially signed outside of Reesio but will require additional signatures at a later point (for example disclosures already signed by the sellers), select the "Sign Later" option.

You can change the signature state of a document at any time by first selecting the "Document Properties" icon to the right of a document:

Next, within the Document Properties window, select from the drop-down menu what the new signature state should be:

After the new signature state is chosen, the updated tag will show up next to the document:

Documents successfully signed online through Reesio's integration with Adobe EchoSign will automatically display in the "Documents" tab with a signature state of "Signed Online". The original unsigned version of the document will still remain tagged with the initial signature state:

NOTE: Documents can also be sorted by Signature State.
